The Guiting Power Music Festival regret to announce, that due to a delay in the process of her visa application, the violinist  Alena Beleva will be  unable to perform at the festival this year. However,  we are immensely grateful to her husband, the award- winning Ukraninian  pianist Vadym Kholodenko who has agreed to fly over to replace Alena as soloist. In place of the Brahms violin concerto we can instead look forward to the superb Beethoven piano concerto No.5, “Emperor” Op.73 as the centrepiece of the concert.
