A majority of employees in a “bargaining unit” employed by Eastern Music Festival, Inc. have voted to recognize a labor union, specifically Local 342 of the American Federation of Musicians (AFM), as their representative with respect to their employment by EMF. While the EMF Board of Directors did oppose the union’s bid to unionize EMF, the members of the bargaining unit have spoken and we support their right to organize for purposes of collective bargaining and representation.
