Hey all,
I have a 9 yr old Whirlpool dryer and the thermal fuse keeps blowing out on it after 30 minutes of usage. I've cleaned out the exhaust vent so I know there's no issue there, and I've also disassembled the lint/blower area and sucked all the lint out for any blockage. Replaced several different fuses in the rear and it's still generating a lot of heat for some reason whenever it's not even activated (even with the temperature setting is set to NO HEAT).
I'm thinking it's possibly the control board (bad relays?) or maybe the heating element? It's electric not gas dryer.
Thanks for an ..read more

Hi
Which electric screwdriver do you recommend that has most or all support for different screws.
I'm looking for an electric screwdriver. Everytime I buy new furniture, there is this L shape pentagon or octagon screwdriver that they provide for putting together a chair or desk. Kind of hurts my hand and it takes too long to assemble.

Hi,
Newbie trying my luck in growing tomatoes and cucumbers in containers, in my apartment balcony.
Very confused looking at the soil options.
1) potting soil seems the best but quite expensive
2) 3 way or 3 in 1 mix is a bit cheaper option
Which soil and brand do you guys recommend for veggie growing. I was thinking of getting from no frills, food basics or rona.
Please suggest.
Thanks

Is there some science I missing out here? I had a vacuum breaker on my outside spigot. My backyard slopes up, so when I shut off the hose/spigot, a lot of water would trickle out of the breaker.
This bothered me because the water would trickle right down my foundation and I worried about leaking into the basement.
So, I bought a short 5 ft lead-in hose... remove the breaker from spigot, attached short hose to spigot, attached breaker to end of lead-in hose, attached long hose from backyard.
I just tested it, and after running the hose, shutting off the spigot, I expected to see the same vol ..read more

Got mid efficiency furnace right now. I am thinking to put a single transfer switch ( it is called EZ Generator Switch) . It will be be placed right before the ON/Off furnace switch on the line coming from panel and it has a 3 prong male plug with then can be attached to my generator with an extension cord. Everything figured out.
So in a furnace/AC combination it should work flawless because gas furnace is only source of heat and the generator will be running the furnace in case of power outage.
Then thinking from future perspective ( and I have done the GreenHome grant assessment done), the ..read more

My household water consumption seems to be very high - averaging 66 m3 for a family of 3 people. No gardening at all. I have a feeling that there may be a chronic leakage that I am unable to discover.
Is there any way to check the daily water consumption? I could not find any option at the alectra portal.
Thank you
