I love the holidays! Everything from the food, to the togetherness, and all the cozy decorations just give me all the feels. It is arguably my favorite time of year. This year obviously looks a lot different for many of us, but I'm still excited to bring you the holiday content you know and love - starting with this outfit. I actually shot this last year, and before I could post it, the entire outfit was sold out from head to toe. That said, almost all the pieces are back for round 2 this year and wit ..read more

Being a first time mom, I know first hand how overwhelming all things baby can be. It's comforting to chat with others who are in the same boat about products, what items you like and don't like, and have a little bit of a guide as to what items are popular. I personally had no idea where to start in the beginning. I feel fortunate to have the platform I do as many of you helped me with recommendations along the way. I took your most popular recommendations from stories and compared them to the "most popular" or "best selling" items on several baby retailer websites and based what we p ..read more

Shane and I are so excited to share that we will be welcoming a baby BOY in December 2020. We were completely shocked and surprised by this as both of us thought it was a girl up until Sunday! Regardless, we are overjoyed with excitement and can't wait to welcome little man to the family. As you can see, Shane is so excited he actually looks like he just won the Masters, ha! I have to say, this was hands down one of the most special days of both of our lives and we are so happy we chose to keep it a true surprise & host a reveal with our closest friends and family. Let's be honest, it's not always convenient to carve out time for taxes. This rings true for Shane and I especially! If one is at home, the other is on the road traveling, and taxes always seem to be a last minute push for the both of us. They are time consuming, tedious, and complicated, but my roots with H&R block run deep! I have used their tax services yearly since my very first job as a Target employee working the meat department - true story! So when I heard about their Tax Pro Go option, I was all over it.
Tax Pro Go is a virtual tax service that matches ..read more

The first official day of spring has arrived, we have moved, boxes are being unpacked, and I'm excited for the weather to be warm so I can wear my new spring shoes and accessories. Life has been rather crazy lately with selling our old house, moving into our new house, and living in a sea of boxes for the last week - but, I'm super excited to get everything situated so we can enjoy this outdoor space!
We were unpacking boxes in my closet when ..read more

We celebrated Liams 1st birthday on Saturday, and it was nothing short of amazing! Celebrating his first birthday felt like such a big milestone not only for him - but for us as parents too. Most of you know Liam is our first child, and while birthdays mark the number of years we've been on this planet, if it's your first born, it also marks the number of years you've been a parent. So much has changed in the last year. I feel like I have a new identity; a new purpose. I plan to write a full post on what 1 year of motherhood ..read more

It's the start of a new year, and the internet and social media is buzzing with hopeful goals and resolutions for the year to come. I'm one of those people who loves to set new goals and resolutions, but I'm also one of those people who tends to fall off six months down the road. Over the years, I've become better though! Writing down my goals and publicizing them for the world to see has provided a level of accountability that works... sometimes.
We've (Shane and I) been taking a different approach over the last few years though. Instead of "resolutions", we call th ..read more

Charcoal Smoker // Whiskey Wedge // Hat Rack // Freezer Gel Beer Glasses // Bourbon Cocktails Recipe book // Custom Wallet // Golden Goose Sneakers // Joggers // Ugg Slippers // Golf Bag Organizer // Manscaped Grooming Kit
Charcoal Smoker: This is definitely a more expensive gift but it's the ultimate mans gift. Shane has a Big Green Egg and uses it weekly to smoke wings, ribs, pork, etc. There's something guys like about watching football and manning the grill.
Whiskey Wedge: This is a great idea for the Whiskey lover. The block of ice looks luxurious and also prevents the cocktail f ..read more

A recent poll on Instagram stories revealed TCB followers were most interested in holiday tablescape ideas. So today, I'm excited to share my modern approach to a holiday table setting with Walmart.
In full transparency, I have a love/hate relationship with holiday decor. I love to decorate and make everything feel festive, but I hate how expensive it is to do so - especially for something that's seasonal! So this year, I made it my prerogative to not only decorate with budget friendly options, but to also pick items that can transition into the next season. Walmart Hom ..read more
