My 10 year-old wants a Polaroid camera or something similar. What should I get that's relatively small and which won't break the bank for film?
I was originally hoping to spend less than $100 on the camera, but I see now that is not realistic. Definitely less than $200, although less than that would be preferable.
BTW, consider me a Polaroid n00b. Even in its heyday, I rarely ever used those things. I was a 35 mm SLR and 6x6 cm TLR fan.

I am currently on the Photography plan (20gb) through adobe for $12.99/month.
Could have sworn things WERE different, but right now they look identical, except for 20GB vs 1TB cloud storage.

Then there's this:

It looks like the 20GB plan isn't discounted, but this seems to give you the 1TB plan for the exact same price as the 20GB. Seems like a no brainer... or am I missing something?

I have been making home video / photo yearly DVD/BR disks. From vacation, family events etc. Everything was done on PC and then burned to a DVD and as of late BR disk. This seems like the "old" way of doing this these days, where its difficult to even find a computer with a BR-RW drive.
How do you guys deal with these video files? Cloud storage for everything and then stream? How do you share these with other family members or your elderly parents?
I want to upgrade my 10 year old PC with something new and would like to move away from physical media if possible or feasible. Thoughts?

Hello RFD'ers!
I'm looking for the best value in "set-it-and-forget-it" sports game recording equipment, specifically for soccer and hockey. What are people using nowadays?
Notes:
I don't need to live stream, although it would be nice to have that option.
I currently have an iPhone 13 Pro Max.
I don't have a tripod yet.
I don't have a stabilizer yet.
I prefer minimal post-processing work.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone. Curious if anyone has any experience with marketplace sellers on Walmart.ca? I've noticed some packages that look interesting and seem to offer good value for the price. Just don't know about the reliability of the sellers and if there's any concern about the products they carry. Here's an example of a package offered by a place called CanadaShop. Thanks!

Do I actually need a mirrorless camera?
I had Nikon D3100 and D7500. Both had for about 2 years each. D3100 was with 18-105 and horrible in low light. Didn't use it much and sold it
Few years later got used D7500 18-140 and 70-300 lens. While it much better camera, better pictures but with my lifestyle didn't have much time to shoot and if I really wanted nice pictures it required lots of time for Lightroom editing so I sold and use money for other stuff. Now I have phone S23 Ultra which has decent low light performance, good video for record kids.
Will I really get much better pictures with S ..read more

Hi
I'm a new realtor looking for a used camera for listing photos. I found a like new Nikon D5600. Rarely used, only as a hobby. Very well taken care of, includes Af-S DX 50mm prime lens, 3 batteries, and a lens cleaner. ($950)
And a Canon EOS t7i for $850.
Thoughts on these two cameras or suggestions for better choices would be appreciated!

I have my eye on a Canon EOS 90D with 18-135mm lens. The other option is a t8i. I like taking landscape pictures of the sunset and northern lights, as well as photos of dancers in action and portraits. I'm not a professional, but a hobbyist. I'm looking for reviews, or suggestions on a similar camera. Do models like this often come up on Black Friday sales? I'm kind of guessing it's more the entry level point and shoot cameras that go on sale.
I'm currently using a T3i, and it does the job, but am due for an upgrade! I like that would still be able to use the lenses that I already have with a ..read more
