Hello everyone reading this thread. By the title of this thread, it will be pretty apparent about what I’m going to ask. When we are taking our 2021 lantern out on our “Glamping” trips, we hook up the water from the site to the city water connection. From that point it starts to fill my fresh water tank. I’m still able to draw water from the sinks and shower and toilet when hooked up to city, but I have to leave the drain valve for the fresh water open otherwise it fills up. I have not touched any of the bypass valves to any of the other connections. Does anyone have any idea what it is that ..read more

We have a 2020 Aspen Trail 1950bh and the awning led light strip has many failed LED's. Bought a replacement and wired the new one to the existing plug and it lit up for 20 seconds and then blew a fuse! I assume the new lights are brighter and need a higher amp fuse but I cannot find where the fuse is located...does anyone know where it may be hidden ..read more

Hello All. New guy here. Just want to say hello to everyone. Just purchased a 2014 Kodiak 331RLSL. It needs a little touch up but we love the fact that the living area slide out on both sides plus a slide out bedroom. I am thinking about installing solar panels on the roof. Is the roof strong enough to be standing on or supporting the solar panels? Thanks. Kin P.S. I am in Orlando, Florida. I am also a retired licensed building contractor. Converter to Battery connection

Trying to understand a connection on 1708bh trailer. Red from converter runs to circuit breaker attached to the frame. Black seems to run directly to the frame for ground. From the circuit breaker, red runs to battery and a smaller red runs to another circuit breaker. From this second circuit breaker, a pink/white wire appears to run to the 12v dc fridge. There is also a black wire from battery to the frame for ground. Based on this set up, if connected to shore power, the converter appears to be powering the fridge directly as well as charging the battery. but if no shore power, the battery i ..read more

Window Seal Came Out of Window Frame

We have a Kodiak Ultimate. On a recent 60 miles trip from one side of Orlando to the other, the rubber seal on the outside of the forward slde window came out, It is hanging in the frame. I need instructions and ideas on how to get it back into the frame and glue it in place so it does not come loose again. The part that came loose is the back side of the forward window, so the downwind side of the window. I apparently forgot to latch the window, so it is possible that air got under the seal and blew it out. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. My next stop is youtube. Thanks, Art Whalen R ..read more

Hello, I have a 2017 Denali 287re and been noticing my slide sagging in the middle. I came home last night from work and noticed trimming damp and saw water dropping. The dealership replaced the floor back on the slide in September, but couldn't find what caused the floor to be rotted out. Just wanting to know what the fix would be. It looks like it needs a support beam in the center. Thanks I did purchased this used from the original dealership it was purchased from as well I'm the second owner ..read more

Thermostats

Hello - I’m new here :) Can anyone help me understand where the thermostats for the refrigerator and hot water heater are? We have a 2020 Kodiak Ultralight 261RBSL with Dometic appliances. We had a carbonated water on the top shelf freeze and explode, and the RV repairman who replaced our thermostat for the hot water heater (because it was heating water to 190 degrees) look and he couldn’t find it. Nor does he know why our refrigerator is too cold and our hot water too hot. Has anyone run into this, and is there a fix? Thanks ..read more
