I am hoping to get my 77 Celica real road legal instead of just dodging emissions...
I need most all emissions related equipment, 1990-1994 preferably 91, LS 400. EGR, vacc hoses, air intake, I even would be interested in catalytic converters...
I may be chasing my tail, and its going to be a big pain in the butt... however it may be worth when I choose to sell that the car would ideally be 50 state legal if I can get Colorado to sign off on the swap...

Greetings everyone, been a long time lurker and definitely learned a lot from this forum. I'm finally planning to get a Lexus (most likely IS250) as a project car. My initial plan is to either turbo or supercharge the 4GR-FSE, but a new opportunity arises. A friend who works in a salvage yard recently received a totaled LS460 with extensive rear damage (heard the owner spun and hit a tree but thankfully no serious injuries). The front end however is mostly intact, I have an opportunity to...

Tremec T56 custom billet bellhousing
I'm working on a custom billet aluminium bell housing to fit the Tremec T56/TR6060 behind a 1UZFE engine.
The Tremec T56/TR6060 has a real short input shaft so the normal stock auto bell housing and adapter plate solution
will not work, the stock bellhousing and adapter will be 190 mm when the bell housing need to be about 120 mm.
I have the drawing ready for this bellhousing ( have a look at the pictures ).
My question for you guys, is anybody...

Does anyone have experience using Polyurethane Engine mounts in place of OEM rubber mounts? I'm wanting to know whether Polyurethane mounts would transfer more engine noise and vibration through the car. Thanks ..read more

Ok,
My idle on start up is about 1350rpm, hot or cold it doesn't move from there.
Just idles fast regardless. Does drop back to about 1000rpm in drive.
Things I've tried, clean and inspected ISCV, resistance test according to manual.
Tried 3 different ISCV'S ( these all worked on another car fine)
Tested for continuity between plug and ecu loom of ISCV.
New ecu temp sender, and check for 5 volts, and grounding to ecu
Tried two different TPS's, and set both according to manual...

Hello everyone,
I’ve been lurking this site for quite awhile trying to gather information on the 1uz non-vvti. I’m planning on transplanting one into my ‘76 Triumph TR7. I have seen the swap online and from what I’ve read on the swap pages, the 1uz looks like the engine that should have been in there in the first place and It just has that “cool” factor to it. Everyone and their brother has done the GM LS swap (boring), but it’s not what I want. Too heavy and too much HP for that little...
