Hello Guys,  Looking for some advice please, it’s very frustrating.  So my original head light drivers side was damaged and water got into the unit, I bought a new unit and used ballasts, everything works apart from DRL light, so I have even tried the ballast out of my working headlight and it still doesn’t work. Tried putting working headlight on defective side and that works fine.  So can anyone tell me if the headlight is faulty or it needs coding please or even is there a secret bulb for the DRL as the headlight didn’t come with any bulbs at all.  Thanking you in advanc ..read more

VCDS not running on new Laptop   Went to use my genuine VCDS Hex+Can on my 2015 R today so fired up my new HUAWEI Ryzen5 Windows 11 Laptop, downloaded the latest Version and off to the car.   Have used the cable on this car before but not with this Laptop. VCDS would n ot recognise the cable so I went onto Roos-Tech site and check for issues, removed reinstalled, booted into Safe Mode which was listed as a dead cert to get it running, tried different USB sockets (all USB3) but nothing would persuade VCDS to recognise the cable.   Went back indoors and dug out my old 11inch Noteb ..read more

Hi All, Does anyone know how to adjust the minimum speed for activation of ACC/ normal cruise (i have 2 cars one with ACC and the other without) Currently the ACC will activate at 20mph and deactivate at 12MPH, can these thresholds be adjusted? I know if you have the Auto it can stop and follow traffic. Same with the other car min cruise speed is 20mph can this go down to 5/10? Any advice would be great ..read more

I know the Golf can recognise speed limit signs using the lane assist camera and I had it working on my previous car (Skoda). However, my Golf doesn't have the lane assist camera in the windscreen and I don't want to install one.   I'm wondering if there's a way to display the current speed limit from the sat nav map / database on the active info display? Really struggling with this one 2017 golf r 7.5 I have a fault with the AFS showing a error on the dash, connected vcds and it’s showed 2 faults with the right light (photos attached) low voltage and mechanical failure to motor, which I suspected as it makes a clicking sound when the lights turn on for a few seconds, and another 1 fault in the 4b mulit func module, which states “received an error code” now is this because the module is linked in which because it’s showing the error on my dash it’s showing in the module??? wanted to clarify before I purchase a second hand full headlig ..read more
