I did fit so called BI LED projectors into octavia 2, instead of the halogen projectors it had before.   Now I do get occasional warning about low beam being bad.   I thought I would find option to disable cold headlights bulb checking or something, but I see nothing like that in central electronics (bcm pq35).   Would maybe setting headlights as xenon be solution to get rid of the messages? Would I still get double high beam (H1 + bi LED) or would then BCM just not command H1s to activate?   It this is not an option - is there something that would help me change BCM EEPROM ..read more

I sometimes drive over 140kmph when passing etc. on two lane roads. Lights come on, because i did turn "highway lights" option on, but then it does not switch to DRLs until I do stop or almost stop the car. Is this expected behavior? If it is correct behavior - Can the 140kmph be changed to something more reasonable for this like 200kmph when you actually want lights on autobahn or something. Dear all, Has anybody had issues with the battery of a Start and Stop engine on a Skoda Fabia (1.4 TDI diesel)? I bought my Skoda Fabia from an approved Skoda Garage last May and since its purchase I have been getting a warning message about the 12V battery. I have just had a character building experience with my Polo 1.4 16V Auto with a petrol BKY engine, I know it is not a Skoda but is a close cousin and I’ve found this forum handy in the past. Hello, I have been trying to enable foglights corner lighting function(I'm not sure if that's the propper name as english is not my firs language but I mean the function that when you turn the stering wheel the respective foglight turns on). A guide on yt showed that i need to get security acces and than change settings in the adaptation tab. However i can't find anywhere the security acces code and vcds doesn't show it either. Hi   Need some help with a weird VCDS issue on a Fabia mk2 (bxw, 5j, 2008, pre-canbus). The service light can not be reset, not with VCDS, not by 3rd party service and not by dealer service. With VCDS (ai adapter from swe vag-com dealer) I can access 01 engine, 03 abs brakes, 09 cent electrics, 15 airbags, 46 central conv. Climatronic was disconnected during this latest test so assumably that will be available as well (08 auto hvac?). BUT, 17 instruments does NOT repond. I assume this is the issue!? Hi everyone, I'm after some help on behalf of a friend, he has a 54 plate skoda Fabia VRS and would like to activate remote windows, I've been succesful doing this on my VW Golf Mk 4 so said I will help him. I currently has a fully licensed version of vcds 10 and vds pro so will be able to use either of these, I had to use vds pro on my golf but I have read conflicting pieces saying that on the 54 plate Fabia you use vcds and some say vds pro. Fabia monte carlo 2017 DSG sensor fault.  Has anyone else encountered the error "leave in park" fault? The DSG works perfectly so I'd imagine it's a faulty sensor/switch, however the main dealer in Newcastle, Staffa want £1795 to replace the gear assembly. They don't do a switch replacement. The switch can be bought for £50 or less with a 2 year warranty, however they won't fit it. Has anyone else fixed this issue ..read more

Hello, I recently tried my hand at vcds and have a problem. I bought a obd2 vag kkl ch340 cable and installed vcds lite 1.2. I managed to successfully test the connection to my car(superb mk2 2012) but when I try to edit settings in the car computer I get a "no responce from controller" error message. I used a windows xp laptop and the cable is a third party generic one. Does anyone know how do I solve this. Thanks in advance for any help :D.   ..read more
