Hi, I am having a strange issue with my vcds. My old gauge cluster shit the bed. Me and my brother worked on putting a junk yard one in and it was perfectly fine. But a couple months later I wanted to get one with somewhat accurate miles. So I'm trying to switch it over and I can put in the old codes to the new cluster. When I hit enter, it just reverts itself to the same codes that it had before. Also under the 17- instruments, and then adaptations, it says error. Ello, I've been lurking here in hopes of finding an answer to a problem I have with the cluster on my '99 alh TDI Golf The cluster's solder points have been going bad for a while (started with the usual flashing of Odometer/Clock LCDs and dimmed Half-FIS) but now it's so bad that the cluster itself seems to lose power and it resets, sometimes only once sometimes a few times during driving.
