There might have been a "cheap rangefinder" thread, so apologize if so. Wondering if anyone has gone this route and could recommend. I typically only play a handful of rounds outside of my home course, so looking for a rangfinder without the expense. I've seen some on Ebay as low as $50=$60, but don't want to bother with junk. First off, I am, by no means, the expert here. I might phrase some things incorrectly. Bear with me. I have always been interested in a golf simulator ever since I saw one for the first time and practiced on one for the first time. I am actually more interested in one more than joining a country club. I am not sure of the things I need and what I can actually get away with as far as equipment goes. After playing some pretty crappy golf and not getting any distance with my irons, Ive finally figured out it's my range finder! It is a precision pro and it consistently reads 15 yds short. Anybody else run into this issue.. Is there anyway to recalibrate it ..read more
