Hi,
I am heading to Longmont and Boulder next week for a company meeting and will stay an extra day and 1/2 for fishing. Any thoughs about best rivers and tactics for this area this time of year? One of my colleagues who lives in Boulder suggests the Big Thompson south of Esthes Park. This seems like a good option but am open to others. Also I was wondering if this will be mostly nymphing or will there also be some dry fly possibilities? In addition I hear there are Browns in the Big...

I've been unable to get out fishing much lately but finally found the opportunity to wet a line. I loaded up my float tube, two rods and lunch and headed out to a lake that is often quite rewarding. It was rewarding today in terms of seeing two friends of mine out there and no other anglers. It was rewarding to wet a line, hear sandhill cranes and a multitude of other birds.
A very sunny day, not a cloud in the sky and the day before a full moon...

Hey y'all,
I'm a new member here from Sarasota, but been snooping around the forum for some time, especially looking at some of the goodies listed on the marketplace. I'm currently an active member over at Microskiff and figured I ought to join the discussion on this site. Currently boat-less, but fishing off a BOTE paddleboard until I finish pharmacy school and can afford a skiff lol. But hope to get to know and maybe even fish with some other guys on here from around my area.
Thanks...
