Don Waybright baptises a prisoner Don Waybright wrote this response to my interview with Terry Solley. . . Before the sun rises every day on Texas Death Row you will hear the songs of praise and Amazing Grace echoing from the cells. In the past year, thirty-three Death Row inmates have followed Jesus in baptism. These inmates lead five churches that meet daily for worship, Word, prayer, and learning to love God and love one another. They are caged separately but that does not inhibit their worship. When a man receives his execution date, they conduct a special service, and as he makes the Dea ..read more

James and Hope live in an Arab city known for its riots and revolutions. They know the smell of burning tires. But the explosion that ripped through the city killing 100 people took the danger to another level. Most mission agencies would have evacuated them. Instead their mentor turned up with a small team and began working beside them. It was to be a turning point. With limited Arabic James and Hope prayer walked the most devastated neighborhoods. From 6-8:00 am they walked and prayed in neighborhoods that no foreigner would normally be in. Soon they made connections. All they had to offer ..read more

How God calls movement catalysts
Movements Blog

Immediately, James thought, “If I believe this, I need to do something about it.” His sister told him, “You need to meet Zach.” 2. God will lead you ..read more
