Our knowledgeable coach Karyn is in the spotlight this week. Originally from New Zealand, she joined the MC Equestrian coaching team in Oct 2021 and quickly established herself with a loyal following of clients. Having ridden and competed horses from a very young age in NZ, she started coaching and working with horses overseas in the USA and the UK including working for a show jumping stable. After five fabulous years, our much loved coach Elsa is leaving to finish her 5th, and second last year of Vet studies out at Sydney Uni’s Vet campus in Camden. Elsa was one of the first to join the MC Equestrian team when the school opened at the beginning of 2018. Elsa began working in the stables in the afternoons to save money for her gap year before starting university. She then returned and continued working whilst she was studying at uni and later started her coach training qualifications. Elsa then became a coach at MC Equestrian and has always been a camp favourite among the school h ..read more

New to our riding programs this year was our Adult Learn to Ride – 4-Week Immersive Course. The innovative course was met with such enthusiasm, that instead of holding one course we ended up with four in the first month! The riders on these first courses enjoyed their experience so much that they then rolled over into a second Adult Learn to Ride Extension Course and some of these original participants then took on a third Extension course to progress their riding to new heights. We still run new Adult Learn to Ride Courses every four weeks during school term. Get in touch with our team today ..read more

This week we have some very sad news, our wonderful pony Dusty, a firm favorite amongst the team and his riders alike, has passed away. He had an acute attack of colic, and although we were able to medicate and sedate him to keep him comfortable in his last hours, there was nothing to be done to cure him. Our lovely vet Emily was able to send him peacefully and painlessly away. Dusty will be sorely missed by all. Dusty taught countless children to ride in his long career. He was a reliable stalwart in the school, the perfect pony to teach beginner riders and first canter. He was kind and gent ..read more
