In 2024 we are hoping to have Kentaur open to the public again for people that live North of the river to bring their horses for Assessment. Choosing the correct jumping girth can be a hard choice. There is many different shapes and models on the market and what works for one horse, may not work for another. In this blog I will discuss how I choose the correct girth for my horses and the advantages of using particular girths. My four favourite girths I have in my tack room are the Kentaur 'Monaco' Girth, Kentaur 'Cassis' Stud Girth with and without sheepskin, Kentaur 'Dijon' Girth and the Kentaur 'Hamer' Artificial Sheepskin Girth. Izabelle on her previous ride Tulara Corango wearing the Ken ..read more

FEI Jumping Rules, as we know, can be a little overwhelming and confusing on the best of days. So to begin, we have seven Kentaur breastplates in total that require being attached to the girth. Out of these seven, there are two different ways the end of the breastplate is made, which will impact how you attach it to your girth. But to answer this question in short, Kentaur breas ..read more

Slightly off the general topic of horses, sponsored riders, tack and competitions, however, still relevant for absolutely everyone. We all know someone who has lost their job or had to stop/limit working because the kids are home from school or businesses have closed. We all know someone terrified of making a family member who is immune deficient sick, and I'm truly sorry if someone you know has unfortunate ..read more
