Julia had an amazing senior session! A few years ago I did Joe’s older brothers senior pictures.  We also did his senior pictures at a golf course.  Mistwood Golf course was a beautiful course and I love getting the opportunity to photograph in places that I don’t get to experience very often. This is without a doubt one of my favorite sessions to date!  Why, do you ask?   Well, Scarlet is my first grand baby and I’m just smitten with her. My oldest son, Steven, always said he would never get married.  He was never going to have pets or children for that matter.  I guess in his mind, he was going to live the single guy life forever.  In my heart, I always knew if he found the right person, he would change his mind.  Lauren changed his mind.  And, I’m so glad she did. Jacob’s first birthday is here!  It seems like just a short while ago that I was in the studio doing his newborn portraits.  Jacob was such a sweet and perfect little model for his newborn pictures.  I thought, there’s just no way he can be that good for his one year pictures too.  Whelp, I was wrong.  Jacob’s first birthday pictures went amazing.  He is such a sweet and happy little guy.  It took him a smidge to warm up but once he did the smiles were flowing pretty quickly. Earlier this year I met this gorgeous momma and had the opportunity to work with her in a different capacity.  I was excited when she reached out to me to do their family pictures.  The LaPenna family was such a joy to work with. What a great senior session Alex had!  About three years ago I first met Alex’s family.  You see, I was lucky enough to photograph his sister for her senior pictures.  Needless to say, I was honored when they reached out to me to do their son’s senior pictures as well. This spring I had the opportunity to work with a new little family I hadn’t worked with before.  The Klein family was referred to me from another friend I had worked with in the past.  Truly, the best compliment I can receive is the referral of your family and friends! Having the opportunity to do Allison’s first birthday pictures was such a joy.  It’s hard to believe that just a short year ago I was photographing her newborn photos.  Years and years ago I was lucky enough to do both of her older sister’s first year portraits as well. Last year I had the opportunity to photograph Brandi and Jose’s wedding!  They are a super sweet and chill couple.  Both Jose and Brandi were a dream to work with and they have such a great sense of humor and ability to just go with the flow.
