Singing the end of strapping is important to how the edge and buckle straps will perform as they are used. Singing is simply using heat to melt the end fibers and letting them cool into a tougher singular surface. For this you might use a disposable lighter, or a match, or some other source of low flame, (such as a candle). Be careful with your fire, but don't worry that the strapping will burn quickly.
Be careful when you do this. While it is not very dangerous, it is somewhat dangerous and things can go wrong. Handling the hot material, even after it stops showing signs of flam ..read more

Today we have two things going on which are worth making a note about. Laffee Taffee looks to be ready for whelping today. Right on time. We're not expecting many pups.
The other thing is Winter coat sales. We sold quite a few of them last year and this week we had as many orders as were sold last year. I went out and bought a lot of materials in expectation of receiving more orders. Last year I had to spend an entire day driving around looking for materials so I am getting ahead of the problem. ClarkBar Grizwold and Grizelda Laffee Taffee are proud to announce that they are expecting a litter of puppies sometime around October 31st, 2023. This is especially good news because this would mean our puppies will be ready for delivery to their new families at, or near, the Christmas Holiday.

We still have one little boy waiting to find a family.
Bubblegum is a very good puppy, but sort of a loner. He keeps to himself much of the time he is out with the pack. Of course there's a whole lot of playtime and he does love to cuddle. But he is slippery to catch some times too and likes his alone time more than most.
He will go for $1100.00 and breeding rights are not an option. Find the email widget to the left of this and we can talk about it ..read more

Cappuccino at Six Weeks
Abigail (Abba) Zabba and Rocketdog Rockford (Rocky) Rhoades got together for the very first time and gave us nine wonderful Basset Hound Puppies. As we have done in all previous litters we evaluate the puppies at six weeks. There are a few good reasons for this, the first being that the pups develop some personality traits by six weeks of age, the second being that the pups display some key physical characteristics which they are likely to carry through life. Each puppy in this litter will be evaluated as an individual using a quasi-objective standard. It is a ..read more
