Hello everyone! I have a 2004 mach 1 and a replacement motor that I'll be swapping in soon. I'm experienced with doing maintenance and basic repairs on my cars, but I've never deep dived into an engine before, nor have I ever swapped engines before. I have a 1998 Cobra a customer had let sit for 3 years due to a crank / no start issue. He believed it was the aftermarket alarm and wanted it removed first. Removed and still no start. Diag'd it to a bad fuel pump. Replaced pump assembly, car starts / runs / drives. Fuel gauge stuck below Empty. Replaced fuel pump assembly again after checking to make sure the float wasn't hung up on anything. Still same issue. If I remove the plug from the pump assembly, fuel gauge shows full. Looking to see if anyone can give me an estimated value of this car. Its a limited production Cobra that Steeda produced. There were a total of 15 Mustangs serialized by Steeda in 1998 and only 4 were Cobras. The mileage on the car is right around 25,000 it's Yellow w/black leather. I just picked up a '98 Cobra. The car has 56k on it and just threw a P1516 code. I reached my hand behind the heads and both IMRCs seem to open with ease, so I'm guessing the controller is on its way out. I recently purchased a 97 cobra it has 59,400 miles, I drove it to work these past two days and today the check engine light came on while on the highway. I got a scanner and checked it Engine Code p1516 came up which I looked into and it said that my (IMRC open or closed longer than expected.) I've never had to reach out this far but I'm lost. So I bought a 99 cobra I'm redoing. Car came vorteched but motor was beat but owner was gonna put in a forged motor he got from a performance shop but gave up on everything so I lucked out. He didn't give me all the specs but after inspecting, it has terminator rods on manley pistons in a telsid block etc. The heads I'm lost tho. I called a head shop who said they were navi heads but when I install my 5.4 to coyote intake adaptors the 5.0... What heads? Intake wont fit ..read more

Ho Guys. New member from Australia. I have a 2004 Mach1 which has been converted to RHD and very well done. I believe it’s the only one in Australia. I have a problem with the air conditioning. Fuse 23 in the central junction box keeps blowing after only running for several minutes. Have checked out the rear window defogger ccts and ok.
