Well I get to take the car to the dealership today; due to a massive oil leak that just started in the last two days. The leak is bad enough that I had to put almost 2 quarts of oil in last night and that by the time I got to work this morning, the dip stick was showing like it did last night before I added the oil. Quite unexpectedly, my serpentine belt snapped. I got a new one and installed it, but I'm not sure it's the right size. The first time I started it up with the new belt, it squealed like crazy for about 10 seconds before it seemed to run fine. I'm hoping someone can maybe help me out. I installed a clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, and slave cylinder bout a week ago. A Kit from Luk. Bled the clutch slave today and it's squirting brake fluid. Thinking it's either the incorrect part, or I need an oring for the hydraulic line. Looking for info on both. Hi all new to the forum, just purchased a 2003 svt like 2 months ago, 150k miles was well taken care of by previous owner, however the oil pressure light came on and off for a bit so I added some oil and the light never appeared again, but then the engine started to make a tapping kind of noise. The noise increase with increasing RPM and it's especially noticeable when I'm on the throttle. A video showing the noise is attached. Any ideas of what the problem might be is appreciated. Thank... Okay so I have an extremely aggravating feeling in my car it’s kind of like a hard bump feeling but it’s really confusing it does not always do it. Seems to only start after driving a few minutes and usually starts after I take off from a start. Does it when slowing down as well. Does the same thing on Completely even roads. Alright, so I finally got my clutch swapped out (LUK kit) and replaced the two O2 sensors, as both were showing error messages. I pulled the battery off for 20 minutes to let the computer reset. Started it up, got the typical high idle and after a couple of minutes it settled down. No idiot lights were showing. Took it out for a spin around my neighborhood. Didn't get very far...In first gear it'll rev to 3k, but then immediately I lose power. The engine stops revving and slows down as... Engine stalls at 3k rpm. Won't go any higher ..read more
