I just posted/commented on another thread about my 10 month old Interstate battery turning to junk over winter storage. I have a 2011 Raptor with aftermarket wheels. The spare tire looked original and I wanted to see what rim it was so I tried to lower the spare tire, but I couldn't get the hoist/winch to lower the tire. The truck was going in for an oil change so I asked the dealer to get the winch working. They returned the truck and told me someone stripped the square female socket in the winch and the part was no longer available. 2010 SVT 5.4 Scab, 164,000mi. I have a crack in my exhaust manifold, driver side. I purchased Dormans from RA, I knew it would a PITA job, but this one turned out to be more difficult than I anticipated. I started with the passenger side first, practice run. I need to remove the starter to access the lower studs of the manifold. I cant remove the starter because the frame, motor mount bracket, and shock tower are in the way. I’m in the process of raptor swapping my 13 f150, and I’ve noticed that a good number of people have had problems with the IWE vacuum system. I saw that on the Gen 3 raptors it is now electronically locking, would it be technically possible to put the Gen 3 raptor lockers on my 2013? If someone has a Gen 3 steering knuckle I would be interested in seeing the difference in dimensions. I have a 2010 5.4 L, and I think I might need to replace the vacuum tubes. (I'm hearing the grinding from one front wheel and banging from the other.) The truck originally came with vacuum hose assembly with part number AL3Z-7A785-E , but it has been discontinued. I can get my hands on a AL3Z-7A785-F, but I was hoping someone could confirm that this revision would still work on the 2010 5.4 L. I know the A denotes a 2010 and the E and F only... Long story short, the place I bought my truck from replaced the blend door(s) on my truck and managed to break the hvac control panel. I couldn't control the hvac from the screen either, nav is dead, and heat has been stuck on. They got me a replacement hvac panel, and I went to put it in today. Nav started working (wrong location but still, didn't work at all previously). But the hvac still won't even light up to acknowledge any power going to it, still no control via the screen either...
