My 96 Cobra with 70K miles had one side IMRC working, and one with the cable connector broken off. The car was a dog. Decided to delete the IMRCs rather than fix them and keep dealing with them over and over. At the same time, I changed the gears to 4.10 and added an aluminum driveshaft and Steeda suspension. Only other mods are Bassani X pipe and a JLT cold air. Dont know what it put to the wheels before the IMRC delete, as I put in a basic tune meant to kept it safe and limited... Read more ..read more

May be a dumb question but is the IAC supposed to leak air from here? I just installed this brand new IAC and both the old and new one leak from this round part. I have no other vacuum leaks. Also when plugged in or unplugged there is no change in Idle Speed or RPMs. Possibly the TB? On a 1999 Cobra ..read more

Thinking about buying a 2004 Saleen Cobra. Does anyone know how many of these were made? I'm test driving tomorrow, if I don't like it (when evaluating the cost/benefit), I may just get a lightning, now that they are discontinued ..read more

Wrap or Paint?

Hey guys, I'm down to the final parts of finishing up the Mustang and I have a VERY tough decision to make. I can wrap the car for $2,500 (Satin Black), or have a paint job done for $4,000. I'd really like to save the $1,500 and 3 weeks time that the car needs for paint (3 days for wrap), but I'm afriad it won't look as good as I'd like? I'd like to get the forum's opinion. I see some cars that I love the wraps on and others that look less than I'd like in quality. Even on Lambo's... Read more ..read more

Maximum Motorsports Caster Plates on 98 Cobra

Hi all- new to this forum so thanks for reading this. I have a 98 Cobra which I lowered 1" on the Ford Performance (Eibach) springs. I installed the max motorsports camber plates, which I highly recommend BTW. Only 1 problem - on the drivers side, there is a hard metal power steering line in the way. I can't adjust the castor because the main plate can't move backwards (toward the rear). I've seen pics of other installs and it looks like they may have replaced that line with a soft...
