hello everyone, i installed a larger throttle body and blower to go along with a custom tune. problem is when time for inspection and i revert back to stock tune, i am getting exhaust warnings and cant pass. even after driving 200 miles. will having the larger throttle/blower on the stock tune always present a mixture problem? I have a 1998 SVT Cobra. One of the nubs on the Accessory Power Plug, on the front of the center console, broke off and the plug started moving around when we used it. It was working, just moving a lot. I cannot find a Ford replacement, so chose to use a generic plug. The new plug did not work and I put the original plug back in and now it does not work. I have always used premium in my Cobra since the day I bought it new in 1996. I've had a mechanic tell me I should be using non-ethanol. The local Murphy's (Wal-Mart) has Ethanol Free Premium. It's not marked with what the octane is. It is 40 cents a gallon more. Just trying to figure out if this mechanic is right, or if I should keep on doing what I'm doing? Car fires off for a millisecond and dies and just does that. I have a bone stock 1996 Cobra i parked the car running and it sat for about 7 months. Yesterday i put a new battery in and a fuel filter because mine was clogged bad. After i did that the car was acting like it had no spark. Checked and boom it didn't then like magic without touching anything it hah spark adn would fire and die over and over. Hello, I have a 2001 Cobra. Lately My turn signals randomly work sometimes and sometimes don't work at all or sometimes blink a few times then stop blinking. All 3 are just random when vehicle is on or even driving. Today they did not want to work at al not even one flash for either side so I tried the emergency flashers and they work correctly and when I turn them off the normal left or right signals work correctly for a little then stops again and won't work until I turn emergency flashers... Just purchased my 2001 Cobra and when I try and down shift from 5-4 or try and rev it on the freeway it will only rev 200 rpms when blipping the throttle. When revving from 4-3 it revs up just fine. Its almost like the car is preventing it from revving unless I leave my foot on the gas. I have tried to blip it even harder but the same response every time.
