What’s up guys. Alright I need some help impressing this girl I’m talking to. She asked me if I could take her flying. Does anyone know of a romantic public airstrip we can fly a Cessna 182 to and maybe have a picnic with a view for the afternoon and then fly back near Denver colorodo area? Please any tips would be appreciated ?

All 4 of MH370’s transponders went off simultaneously on the 777. Some report this is physically impossible. I’m here to ask pilots if that is correct or if it is indeed possible. Is it as simple as just 4 toggle switches close by eachother that two hands could perform this task or would it require a coordinated effort by two pilots (4 hands).

We get this question a lot and it looks like the FAA has finally developed a protocol for pilots with a previous ADHD diagnosis/medication.

Anybody have a list of walk in FAA medical clinics across the country? All the Doctors I get ahold of are booked up for awhile and at the moment I am unable to commit to appointments but need a first class ASAP.

Hey guys, I’m pretty much in the same boat as a lot of inexperienced people here, 21 years old tryna figure out how to make it to the airlines. I’m in the national guard and I work on chinooks, I’m very familiar with helicopter flight controls, the different systems etc. My question is would it be wiser to go to a 2 year fixed wing flight school in the spring, or would it be more beneficial to go warrant officer, fly helicopters for the guard, and do a rotary to fixed wing transition course? And what are the minimum requirements to do a transition course? Thanks!:)

Long story short I’m waiting on a letter from the FAA about what they need for my medical special issuance. I can’t find any contact info for an office even just to make sure it’s in the system and they know about it. Does anyone have any ideas? I just want confirmation my paperwork exists SOMEWHERE.

I want to be a pilot, but I'm having trouble understanding the regulations to get your first class medical. I have been in therapy since I was in middle school because I had a lot of anxiety. I started taking anxiety medication(Prozac) around the same time but never took it consistently. When I turned 18, my mother made me take medicine again. But I only took it for about a month and haven't been prescribed anymore and haven't seen the doctor since.
I'm a little confused about if I would be able to pass the medical exam. The rules seem to say something about being off the medication for 60 da ..read more

Hey guys, so how crazy do you think it would be to take a huge loan and enter an integrated course as a young broke guy with no savings or anything? As a fresh inexperienced pilot should I expect to have to pay for my type rating as well or is that more of a thing of the past? In my most optimistic scenario I would expect to get employed maybe at most 1 year after completing my training in order to start paying off my loan. Is this rational in any way or what do you think? I know of course things could change very quick but I'm asking based on the current circumstances of the market. Thanks ..read more
