I love my J bass (cheapie squier) but want to trick out and paint a P bass body to attach it to. I’ve read that the necks in a J bass are interchangeable on a P bass without adjustment. is that accurate? I understand that J bass necks are thinner - my question is whether I can simply bolt and set up a J bass neck on a P bass body without mods.
Thanks

89R Neck Position SA Middle position 81TW Bridge position 1 Volume knob 1 Tone knob 5 Position strat switch 2 TW switches (one for 81TW and one for 89R).
Is this combination possible? And if it is, what would the diagram look like?

in the beginning phases of building an explorer because i found a bunch of my great grandfather's black walnut in my basement. (pic for reference, not routed to a template yet; just a rough cut) and i am not confident enough in my woodworking skills to build a neck from scratch so i've been planning on buying a warmoth neck but i am pretty unsure as to what specs would be fitting. Sorry if this is a stupid question, any advice would be much appreciated:)

What are your thoughts on this guitar? https://shopgoodwill.com/item/197883432
I'm casually shopping for a classical to fix up and this looks pretty good to me. The model isn't stated, but AWN 300 is my best guess from google searches. If it looks legit, what do you think is a reasonable price based on these pics?

I’m trying to re do the electronics for a friends guitar but I’m having a hell of a time figuring out what it came off of to track down a pick guard. Anyone know of a 9 screw replacement Strat style pickguard? Or how can I get all that stuff off of this one to re use it? TIA!
