Marie Parks Marie Parks joined The Heritage Humane Society volunteer program in July 2023. She jumped in with both feet helping with morning cleaning three days a week and helping to walk our dogs three to five days a week. One can definitely say Marie is committed to the care of our animals. Last Saturday was our first meeting of our new kid’s club, Animal Aces. We talked about some learning opportunities they will have, like classes on caring for kittens and reading dog body language. Our new members discussed ways we will make a difference for the animals in our care. We kicked it off with a project to promote adoption. The kids used their choice of art supplies to create pictures of the adoptable animals currently at HHS. Some chose crayons and colored pencils, while others tried their hand at watercolors.
