Last October 2022, I was invited to team up with musician Michael Rauter to create an AV performance for Digital Arts Zürich / DAZ. The show presented at Wasserkirche Zürich was a full hour set with three different compositions. For the first part I presented a new version of Light Disruption, the second chapter (the longest) was a completely new visual music composition inspired in abstract psychedelia aesthetic, and the third was a reshaped and repurposed new version of Black Infinity. Here you can find some stills out the visual compositions, pictures and video-clips documenting part of the ..read more

Visual music improvisation trio formed by Marie Takahashi (viola – Japan), Kamil Korolczuk (live electronics – Poland) and Pablo Iglesias a.k.a. Geso (live visuals – Spain) based in Berlin. Each of them has been experimenting with different techniques combining organic and digital elements, and the overlap of their works has the purpose of finding the perfect synch between audio and visual language, digital and organic at the same time. An audiovisual trip where hearing is seeing and vice versa. The trio uses improvisation as a playground where the music is not written on paper, but created in ..read more

Official music video for “TV/AV”, the long awaited new work from Dot Product including Geso as the new (visual) member along sound artists Adam Winchester and Christopher Jarman. The music video was premiered on December 13th at Seeing Sound Festival. Through years of research and experimentation Winchester and Jarman have sought to explore the creative potential from the inaudible fog of electromagnetic radiation, the internal resonance found in the negative space of an object, the circuitry of discarded electronics, and other such less-travelled paths of sound generation. In harnessing these ..read more

This video art piece is a music visualization and my personal homage to punk aesthetic. 1977 was the year I was born, but also it was the year when “officially” punk movement exploded. So, when I was asked to make a video about the 70’s aesthetic, I decided to create explore punk’s iconic style. Not to recreate its aesthetic but to visualize the foot-print that it left on me somehow. My idea was to create a kind of current vision of punk, but distorted through the passage of time, like if we would be seeing the echoes of a culture that (indeed) never died. For this project I counted with the ..read more

Music visualization of XZICD latest album published on Detroit Underground. When I was asked about the possibility of visualizing a whole album, I was fascinated by the idea of a real life moving background that will be synced with the music. So I decided to approach this collection of videos by experimenting and playing around with audio-sync compositions displayed in a broken TV set and re-scanned with electronic trash, different filters, liquids and objects. ɅVΟѺΟVɅ sees XZICD exploring humanity’s need to fuse the biological and technological nature of our modern existence, translated into ..read more

Peter Kirn and Geso present “Pastoral“, an audiovisual installation commissioned by Berlin Atonal Festival. Pastoral is a play on outside and inside, the bucolic natural world with the industrial realities of the Kraftwerk space. Emerging as if from a rift in the architecture of the power plant, the visuals distort the natural environment into abstracted geometry, warped in a disorienting, gradually shifting architecture of image. Kirn‘s generative music and sound likewise deconstructs a portrait of the static harmonies of Beethoven‘s Sixth Symphony, producing a musical space to match the visu ..read more
