Hello, I can't pin point if this may be a memory issue with the CPU memory controller or the motherboard memory slots, ill try to explain. I have 5800X and 4x8GB g-skill ddr4 3600MHz CL16 sticks and was running DOCP for almost 2 years now but recently I have been experiencing system restarts no BSODs just instant restarts. Upgraded ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (WI-FI) to BIOS 4402 and "randomly" when monitor goes into stand by I cannot recover my session with mouse or keyboard. Requires a system reset for display to return. Using ZOTAC RTX 4090 Trinity OC with AMD 5950x. BIOS is mostly on default - no OC. Rolled back to BIOS 4006 and no longer an issue when monitor goes into stand-by. Hi All Software that controls USB devices behaves strangely.. iCUE: Keyboard works but RGB is DEAD and iCUE can't find it. Sabre mouse same thing but RGB is color cycling. NEXUS turns ON and appears i iCUE but is unresposive. MSI Gaming intelligence (monitor OSB via USB): Launches program but gets stuck in loading. Im running asus x570e gaming wifi 5800 x3d 4070 ti pny 64 gb ram EVGA 850 P2 i notice today for some reason that my cpu connector had the 8 pin connected but there is a 4 pin next to it. i found a cpu cable and plugged the 8 pin side into my psu, and split the 8 pin end into 4's with the right configuration of course and plugged that into the mobo. the system wont boot. i get lights, just not boot up. i unplug it and i boot fine. do i need the other 4 pin next to the 8 pin? and why wont it boot? the cable is a cpu cable so i dont know what gives. thanks ..read more

Hello, i just upgraded from a 3700x to a 5800x3d. i have the following setup: asus strix b550-e 2x16 gb ram @ 3600mhz (docp) 5800x3d (stock) nh-u12a (2fans) 3080 10gb w10 after installing the cpu, i did CMOS reset. and tested the cpu with r23 benchmark on multicore.
