I have a 2004 Toyota Tacoma 6 cylinder.  Some history on it.  It had a bad frame, and I never got a recall. Both were sent to the wrong address. Filed a claim with the Attorney General's office, and won.    The dealership rebuilt everything. Even opened the motor and replaced the timing belt and valve cover gasket. That was almost 5 years ago. Truck runs great, has 207,000 miles.  But I parked it for 18 months. Never used it. I wanted to get rid of it since we have no need for two cars, esp a 4wd. Wondering how common it is to have leaky valve stems after a trip on the beach? Between second half of last year and two trips this year it's happened to me. Swapping out the inserts. In 2 cases I could see how it looked like the insert was sitting cock eyed. Is it common or do I have to just be more careful when airing up? I went to get my truck lifted and they said they could not do it because of the rust issues on the front part of the frame.  I missed the recall - notice was sent to my ex's house...   Anyway - does anybody know where I can get the frame fixed/reinfored by as welder?  The truck only has 142k miles on it.  Any help/recomendations would be great..  any other stories of Tundra rust would be great too!   Thanks in advance ..read more
