Hello
I have wanted to catch a gar with a rod and reel for awhile now and being 67 years old it is time to try. Can anybody share a location that would give me a good chance at catching one from shore. I am willing to travel anywhere in MIchigan if it gives me a good chance
Thanks much

I have always wanted to try bow fishing. Everything about it seems fun, a hot summer night, shooting bows. I live in the west Michigan area. I was just wondering if anyone could find me a good guide or just personally take me out. Thank you ..read more

I’m still kinda new to the sport of bowfishing. Mainly only fished rivers out in the country. Just wondered if anyone knew if you could bowfish flood waters inside city limits?

2022 was one of the worst years I have ever had. Didn't get out a whole lot because of the terrible winds most evening and nights. Dug into the forum and looks like some go to farmers, but if I cannot find a farmer (Or have a yard to dig & use as garden fertilizer) what would you recommend? Had a blast last year with a buddy, but want to have my bases covered...

Adjustable Light Bar vrs Viugeum
A while a go a member here purchased some adjustable LED light bars and was kind enough to add one to his order so I could play around with it. The manufacture claims 100 watts and it is more like 75ish watt light. There is a adjustment dial that changes the amount of which led diodes that are light. The contain both a very warm white diode and a pure white diode. I took all the LUX & Kelvin measurements at 10 feet from the inside of my garage door at 9...
