The R&R Tour Bus - Part II

4/15/23 We've had a Polaris RZR XP4 1000 for about five and half years now. Sold the two old XP900s and snagged a 1000 four seater. We call it the R&R Desert Tour Bus because we're always taking friends, guests and such out into our beloved desert. When we got it, the very first thing that had to be done was a cage and shock mods. I don't trust the stocker at all. Seen too many fold up. We also added a few desert requirements (stowage box, spare tire, winch) and then as we used it other parts got replaced (suspension arms). The old gal's seen almost 11,000 miles of use, a new engine (it ..read more

Coker is reproducing the 205-60-13 BFGoodriches that were used as rear tires on briggs cars. Sadly, no 185-80-13 for front replacement. I have not checked on availability. https://www.cokertire.com/tires/p205...h-t-a-rwl.html ..read more

FL250, FL350, and FL400 gear ratios?

I do not have either of these machines, however, no literature I've seen recently gives the gearbox final ratios for either one. With them all having a gear case for their reduction and not a chain final (as far as I've seen), figured I'd ask for other inquiring minds ..read more

Roketa four seat chassis

Located in Lubbock, TX. $1800 No motor, has a Suzuki Swift 5-speed transmission in place set up for chain drive. Perfect for any sled or CVT ATV motor. 70hp I think would be perfect, I've had a CBR954RR engine in the frame and it held up to it but needs some more structural support that kind of power. Been a fun buggy, I got it so my kids could ride in the back...but it's time for my kids to have their own buggy and my interests keep getting diverted to other projects, time for this one to go. Rear arms have been widened slightly, they will need to be boxed if you intend to throw this thing ..read more

Wasn't sure where to put this so into the Litter Box it goes. This part of the forum needed a bit of action anyhow. Suffering from major PBO (project burn out) on the Mini-Raptor. I'm tired of a what's turning into 7 year project. It runs, it needs attention to detail shit and I'm of short MR attention span presently. Sooooo..... (stories should start with this line, correct?) Every time we go to Jerome, AZ (google it - fascinating place, full of history, hauntings, mines and all sorts of cool little 'tourist' shops, not to mention some really good eateries) we stop in a place that sells Ka ..read more
