Hi there, I am looking for a way to run my Zorin 17.1 as a remote server setup without a physical monitor. Since I am using Wayland xrandr is not an option. I tried to install a virtual monitor using this link virtual monitor but no success. I tried using TeamViewer, which is my preferred solution, but once I unplug the monitor the remote screen just turns black. I also tried using the built in VNC interface, but every time I try to establish a connection I have to manually approve the connection on the device. Password auth doesn't seem to work. Potential Linux user here. I'm not comfortable with where Windows and Microsoft, in general, is headed. So far I've downloaded the trial versions of Ubuntu 24.04, and I think, Zorin 17dotsomething(?). These won't be my only candidates, but I only have two available flashdrives. Yes, I COULD buy a couple more, but I'd have to shower, and get dressed, find my car keys. Lots of work. In general, I think I like Zorin better than Ubuntu, but there is a glaring discrepancy between the two trials that I am uncomfortable with.
