I haven’t gone to the bank in years. Since covid. And I’ve been putting it off since. I’ve deposited checks online but I have so much cash thats been collecting in a drawer that needs to be deposited! I’m so anxious about it. How long will it take to deposit and I feel so embarrassed.. and will I be flagged for depositing so much at once after not putting anything in my account for years!? In so scared. What happens if I get flagged will they take that money away? God I wish I just went regularly and didn’t procrastinate (mostly due to agoraphobia) I was thinking maybe I should spit the depos ..read more

Currently pulled over on the side of the road working through a random sudden attack. It helps reading everyone else's experiences and knowing I'm not alone. Here's to hoping there won't be a day 5! submitted by /u/GIMPwithaPIMP [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Heyheyhey. First off, I want to begin with I never thought this day would come. I never thought I would get here. I still remember the date. April 29th of 2023. I had my first panic attack induced by weed. Ever since that terrible night at the er shaking in fear, chest aching, numbed fingers, and feeling like I couldn’t breathe- I was having panic attacks none stop. Sometimes the panic attacks were constant throughout the day. It got progressively worse as the three month mark hit. I was going to the hospital 5-7 times a week. Sometimes even twice in a day. I lost multiple jobs, I lost friend ..read more

I feel like I gave everything set but at the same time I'm kind of scared? Not really of anything but getting a random panic when I'm not supposed to, like at the Zoo or something. I WANT to have fun on the trip but like the drive and the hotel feels like the worst places I'd be. I'm going with my family, there's like 12 of us in total, which is fine, I'll get some space but I'm still sketched out and feel like there's still much more to prepare for. What do I do to kind of reassure myself? submitted by /u/MephistoGhulehh [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I'm trying to sleep and have what appears to be a vivid dream for 0-1 minute (can't decide if it's a dream or random memories). I then experience deja vu of what this "dream" is. Is there anyone experiencing the same situation? submitted by /u/No-Temporary5088 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hello! I’ve been suffering badly this past month with anxiety & panic disorders. I went to see a psychiatrist and they prescribed me Paroxetine. I just wanted to know if anybody else has been on this and if it has helped. It does say to take it in the mornings, so I haven’t taken it today as I just picked up the prescription. I know it also takes about 3 weeks to fully be in my system. I just wanted to hear other people’s thoughts on the medication and if it helped them to give me some more comfort. I should add that medication does scare me sometimes as I had an awful time with my last m ..read more

Hello, I recently suffered my first real panic attack back in February that sent me to the hospital. Afterwards, my doctor put me on Lexapro (15mg) and I haven't suffered one that bad since. However, I still have these random bouts of panic with no real trigger. I'll be fine for several days at a time, and then BOOM. It just comes out of nowhere. They tend to happen at night when I lay down for bed, and sometimes when I drive even. I truly don't know how to explain it. My head starts feeling foggy, I get light headed, a sense of impending doom takes over, and my body gets cold. My heart rate ..read more
