Reposition buckle on UPZ boots?

Hey everyone,  I'm trying to reposition the top buckles on my UPZ XC12 boots to another set of holes because the buckles are too tight. It looks like the buckle screw is screwed into a T-nut, which would need to be removed. I've tried to pry it off but it ain't budging. I don't want to damage the T-nut to remove it since I don't currently have a replacement. Does anyone know how it might be possible to remove the T-nut in a non-destructive way so that I can reuse it in another hole?  Thanks!    ..read more

Centering boots on bindings

Interesting, this is likely a new topic so as to not distract from this beautiful, confusingly-used board. I’ve always centred the boot over the middle of the binding, then angle bindings until perpendicular over the edges. But in almost no case will I get directly over both toe/heel, so I typically adjust the bindings slightly toe/heel (along with stance angle) to centre the boot over the board edges. But my boots are always centred on the binding. It sounds like everyone else uses the slots for adjusting stance width, but the binding is always placed on the middle of the board and you offse ..read more

Binding Angles for 18 cm wide board - Help/Suggestions

Hello All,  I'm looking at an 18cm wide board and am concerned about binding angles and boot out.  I currently ride two 19.5 cm wide boards with 27M boots (Deeluxe Track 325) with 60 and 65-degree angles. Will I fit on an 18cm wide board? If possible, I'd like not to go custom, and I'm open to going steeper, but I'm not sure what becomes too extreme.  Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful! I dig it here, great group.  Best, _Mike ..read more

F2 RS intec mounting question

I am setting up a new pair of F2 RS intec. How much flex on the toe bail is too much? My other bindings are Bomber Trench diggers so they are pretty tightly locked. Should I crank this tighter? The bail is very tight against the shell but there is still a little room on top of the toe. I am concerned about pressuring the front of the shell too much. Link is a video of the movement. Thanks, Alan P.S. Disregard the vintage Fat Bob, that is only a place holder for the binding adjustment.  https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/32lw9dcn6txx377udwazv/20240407_214439.mp4?rlkey=gfjyqbx13ua3fg543qs6hjlga ..read more

A perfect season end.  The snow was still pretty good, but rain and warm temps will kill that this wee and the hill closes next saturday.  Snuck out of work early on friday and biked up to the hill, then I took an early saturday morning ride today.  Hardly any people, pleasent weather, and about 30cm of fresh snow, Nice!    Now I’ve cleaned all of our sticks and packed them away.  MTB forks and shocks are on the way back from service.     Anybody else hanging up for the season, and is it on a high note?   ..read more

Plastic stock insoles should be kept or removed?

The title says it all. My Deeluxe Free69 are giving quite a lot of pain. I cooked the Palau liners once but following @Corey instructions they will be cooked again to gain some space at pressure points. Now, should those plastic insoles/footbed that come stock be removed? I have a “good” footbed I bought from Decathlon, and maybe removing this plastic thing will make some little more room. Whats the consensus? Let me illustrate… Thank you guys ..read more

I'm a 51yr old male looking for a carving coach or camp or just fun meet up, I open to a formal meet up anywhere in NA for a few days. I live in Toronto but willing to consider locations for few days (2-4) of casual coaching/riding on some nice big groomers to better learn on. I've only been riding 4 years largely all self taught and feel I've maxed out and need someone to help me focus on the next level, I can do basic carves able to ride mid size mountains but just need nice big groomers and coaching on how to get down/lower and perform solid smooth carves, maybe some vid ..read more
