We had driven an hour down a dirt road surrounded by towering mountains, high in the Andes Mountains. Our place of origin was of no meaning, now with every turn down this dusty road we sunk deeper into the past. This night shot of Rainbow Falls in Gorges State Park NC was the capstone of a meditative journey through the transition of day to night.  A shoot that became no less than a full-on meditative prayer to the universe.
