The conclusion of GrindhouseCellar and revterry’s discussion on the late 90s star studded, iconic slasher film that wasn’t Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997). In this second half the hosts break down the casting, which brought together a mix of pop culture regulars from the era, including Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Anne Heche, Freddie Prinze Jr., Ryan Phillippe, Bridgette Wilson-Sampras and Johnny Galecki. Plus there is some love for Cruel Intentions, Mortal Kombat leglocks and more ..read more

I try not to judge a person’s taste in art. Many people have these painted black pieces of sheet metal shaped like cowboys where I live. The sharp, ghostly shadows are welded to their mailboxes or often have a cloth handkerchief and a real lasso attached. It’s fucking terrible, and I have no idea why they exist. I'm not one to use the word tacky, but if I did, that's what I would call these eyesores--along with their almost as shitty kin that sculpture made from license plates (another favorite around here). Fuck them both, but as I said, I make an effort to be accepting because even t ..read more

Already a little sauced, we take a look at two very different ninja trailers. First up is the new Snake Eyes prequel, but since not much is known about the franchise between us, we mostly just talk about the G.I. Joe dolls from our past. Afterward, we move to a more comedic, low-budget corner of the ninja-verse and put on François Simard's Godfrey Ho tribute, Ninja Eliminator, from 2010.  Revterry and GrindhouseCellar sit down virtually to discuss films and get intoxicated. In this entry, Grindhousecellar is in the mood for some movie-ninjas, so the two look at the upcoming ..read more

For our second episode, GrindhouseCellar and I (RevTerry) take a look at some crowdsourcing film campaigns from William Lee, Gregory Lamberson, Bill Zebub, Joe Sherlock, and Matt Gulbranson. Sites like Indiegogo and Kickstarter have changed the way independent cinema is manifested, giving fans like us a way to show early support with our beer money. I swear we know more descriptive words than "great", "awesome" and "cool" but you will have to take my word for it. PS: I'm so sorry Debbie Rochon.
