Posting to share my experience and wondering if anyone else wants to share their experience of taking Misoprostol to manage a missed miscarriage.  I had my first ultrasound at 8 weeks and docs were concerned that the baby was measuring 6w3d. I was very certain of my dates, so we scheduled another ultrasound a week later to check again. The baby was still measuring 6w3d and I had a third ultrasound yesterday with at a more advanced lab to confirm there was no change and no heartbeat. Hi everyone has anyone experienced something similar. I was diagnosed with a MMC on 11/01/24 and underwent d&c on 12/01/24. I would have been 10 weeks and 6 days at time of d&c. The first week after I had some issues with heavy bleeding and pain and was scanned a week after the d&c which didn’t show any retained products. So at home I was continuing to test strongly positive for weeks afterwards. Just went in for my 8wk ultrasound today and baby was only measuring 7 weeks and some days, and there was no heartbeat. This is my first miscarriage and would be second pregnancy. Hello, I am looking to connect with others who have also gone through a loss but had to be induced to birth baby and had the surgical removal of the placenta my daughter had as moving the day before we went in for our OB appointment and when they did the US they said she had no heartbeat. So I started miscarrying on the 14th (spotting lightly that rapidly progressed to heavier bleeding and cramps through the night,started passing clots). Anyway, on the 16th, I passed baby (the gestational sac) and the cramps/clots and bleeding were better...but now the clots are back and bleeding is heavier than after passing baby.
