The antenna without embedding an FSS exhibits notch frequency gain of −2.6 dBi (measured), and after inclusion of an FSS layer behind the antenna, the notch frequency gain has been further reduced to −7.6 dBi (measured) due to the destructive interference between the reflected back radiations of the antenna by the FSS with the forward radiation of the antenna. Summary A band-notched super wideband (SWB) planar monopole antenna with improved notch characteristics is proposed in this article. A hexagonal SWB antenna operating in the frequency range from 3.04 to 36 GHz is initially de ..read more

In this article, a four-port multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna with self-coupling-self-decoupling (SCSD) mechanism has been designed. The design primordial feature that constitutes parasitic constrictors (PCs) which act as SCSD has been strategically implemented. The design has a uniplanar printed structure, in which the radiator and reflector are printed on the same reference plane. The antenna operates from 2.9–5.45 GHz with isolation >25 dB, compatible for C-bands. The diversity parameters are evaluated for indoor, outdoor, and isotropic propagation with discrete statis ..read more

An adaptive coalition using Kullback–Leibler divergence (KLD)-based cooperative spectrum sensing scheme (KLDCSS) with a nominal sensing time to optimize the spectral efficiency is presented. In the proposed sensing scheme, the cooperating SUs are adaptively allocated to different coalitions to maximize the throughput efficiency. An adaptive coalition and user allocation algorithm are proposed to optimize the average opportunistic throughput and diminish the sensing overhead. Summary Effective, reliable, and rapid spectrum sensing in concordance with maximum throughput efficiency is necessary ..read more

Figure 4 indicates about the flowchart intimation of LNA-based MOSFET, the initial stages of the design scheme, the choice of technology is determined to be the 65 nm node. Subsequently, bias simulations are conducted, aiming to achieve optimal performance. During this phase, a meticulous readjustment of DC bias points is carried out. The primary goal is to meet the specified current requirements. If this target is successfully attained, the subsequent step involves preparing the variables within ranges based on their respective constraints. However, if the required current is not met, a furt ..read more
