Last August I bought a 2023 TG in black. When I got the bike, I did some basic changes - Mirrors, Grips, Shift Linkage, Tour Pack Rack, etc. Over the winter I had some bigger mods performed. I had spine surgery over the winter and needed to improve things for my riding comfort. I continue to look for a used Sundowner for my Freewheeler. I am hoping to raise the seat height to make it easier to dismount. Osteoarthritis in the shoulder makes me want to minimize lifting myself up with the bars. An inch or two would be helpful. I have read some contradictory comments about whether the Sundowner raises or lowers the stock seat height. I hope someone can clarify or steer me in the right direction. After much deep personal deliberation I have decided the first accessories that I must have are Cup Holders. I know little to nothing about HD aftermarket part but did notice there do not seem to be a lot of mounting options on the bars or on the fairing for cup holders. I also need a passenger cup holder as well. What are the options for mounting and what and where do folks recommend. My 2016 Freewheeler has 7,085 miles on it. I've already been bitten by the trunk lid that wouldn't open a couple years ago but now I have a new problem with it. I am now having problems with it not latching. After close examination I found that the trunk lid has over an inch of play in it so the latch does not line up correctly. What I mean is that if I close the lid about 3/4 of the way, I can move the lid well over an inch from front to back so the latch may not line up properly if I'm not careful and it will not latch if it isn't lined up. I just watch a helpful DK Custom Trike video about lowering your tire pressure and I would like to try it. My wife and I together only weigh 270# and our new Road Glide 3 is rough riding on the off roads. Not gravel just some rough roads around St. Louis.. Here's my question and I haven't tried this yet. But I bet when I lower the tire pressure to 20 pounds it will trip my tire monitors. I don't want to have to look at that light all the time. Can the monitor be set lower?
