I swapped handlebars on my new Freewheeler yesterday. Went from stock to Wild 1 WO517. It gives me a couple of extra inches of pullback. I installed a 4 inch clutch extension and I’m wondering if I should install longer front brake lines. There is a slight bend in the line from the banjo to the forks so it’s not tight. I can turn the handlebars all the way right and left without any change in the line (it doesn’t get tighter or looser). Guys I know headsets have been hashed over a thousand times but I'm looking at letting Santa Claus bring me the HD Dual pack 50s for Christmas. What I want to know is ANY experiences out there from anyone who has actually used them. Good or bad, I'd love to hear both before I bite the bullet. Did 120 miles on my 2012 TG yesterday here in Arizona. Up to Canyon Lake for lunch at Tortilla Flat and back. Beautiful weather and a beautiful ride. The TG performed great. A joy to ride two up. As usual, the gas gauge went from 1/2 to empty in no time. Made it to the gas station with 10 miles showing on the "low fuel" readout. Took 5.5 gallons. Gotta keep a closer eye on that. I am 71 and have several medical issues. Thrilled that I can still ride. Two wheeler days are over, but the TG does the job ..read more

I purchased my 21 Triglide in May of 2021. Now Dec 2023. I just returned from a 1500 mile trip and used it a few times locally. The other day, after sitting for about 3 or 4 days, the check engine light came on. I noticed on first start of the day it seemed sluggish starting and reverse seemed a little slow. So I put the battery tender on it and now 3 days later it still says 95% charged, Well charging the battery resolved the check engine light, Code U0121 ABS, now I am wondering if after only 2.5 years the battery is due for replacement???
