So I picked the new scoot up yesterday and, took it out for a short ride today. so I thought I would give a bit of a review and, comparison to the can am Spyder. Have to have the 1000 mile service done on a used 2021 triglide (1175 miles). Can anybody tell me exactly what the dealer is "supposed" to do? I don't have a shop manual yet (about $150.00) or owner's manual. The dealer parts guy said I'd be better off ordering from the MoCo..."probably get it quicker" if I order them myself. Hi everyone, my dad has rode harleys his whole life. This summer he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Surgery and treatments all went well. He is doing fine now, getting around, driving and normal things. But lost a lot of control with his right arm. He is looking at buying a 2021 tri glide CVO to get back into riding. Found a 2014 triglide with only 89 miles on it. I now have 5000 on it. Have had a few issues with it , gas leak, steering dampner. Both due to rubber seals. Now I'm getting a clanking noise on slow decell. Stops when I pull in clutch. I'm thinking compensator. Any one have same issue ..read more

If, like me, you don't want to go through the hassle of removing the exhaust on your tri glide in order to access the clutch release cover (necessary to change clutch cable) then try making your own tool. Using a 3/16" allen wrench, cut off a little of the short end so the wrench will fit between the exhaust and the allen-head bolts. Then heat the wrench with a torch until red hot, and bend the wrench back so it will clear the clutch release cover. (see photos) Next, find a 3/8" bolt...
