The Little Mermaid The long-awaited live-action remake of Disney’s The Little Mermaid is finally here! Premiering Worldwide May 26th. This retelling of the beloved Hans Christian Anderson fairytale, The Little Mermaid features many of our favorite songs from Disney’s animated feature, plus three new originals from Lin-Manuel Miranda. Aladdin at the Fisher Theatre Disney’s Aladdin is the latest show to hit the Fisher Theatre, brought to us by Broadway in Detroit! Last night was opening night and I had the absolute joy of taking my daughter, Adina, with me to see it. WOW! I should have been prepared for Disney to work their magic on stage, but I was not. Broadway in Detroit was gracious enough to host my daughter, Selah, and I at opening night of Annie at the Fisher Theatre. Wow! What a fun night!
