Recent research by insurance platform ValuePenguin found that motorcycle crashes are increasing much more quickly than passenger cars. According to the company’s study, based on crash data for the years 2016 through 2020, fatal motorcycle crashes increased at a rate of 11% between 2019 and 2020, while fatal passenger car crashes increased at a rate of five percent.
