At that time, I was optimistic that as some state legislation encouraged city/county ADU application streamlining and the "by-right" ability of residential property owners to add ADUs to their properties, we'd see more homeowners building them. There are many parcels in greater Sacramento that could easily accom ..read more

My husband and I love to visit Farmer's Markets and Sacramento has several to choose from! We are very lucky that we are the "Farm-to-Fork Capital" and have abundant fresh veggies all over town and on different days of the week. Here is a list of farmers markets in the greater Sacramento area:
Midtown Farmers Market -- A year-round market held every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring over 200 vendors offering local agriculture, prepared foods, artisans, and crafters.
Downtown Sacramento Farmers Market -- Located at Capitol Mall (Wednesdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and at Caesar Ch ..read more

During the years of the Great Recession, the vast majority of my Sacramento area listings between 2007 - 2012 were with home sellers in some sort of distress or default. And, often I would receive panicked calls from homeowners toward the end of the foreclosure process -- days before the foreclosure was to take place -- asking to list and sell their home asap. I fought tooth and nail -- sometimes with success and we were allowed to delay the f ..read more

I showed a few homes to some buyer clients earlier this week, and two of the three homes we visited were frigid inside. Let me tell you, we were in and out of those two chilly homes quickly!
As a home seller, it's important to recognize that turning on the heat during these cold months can make a big difference in how potential buyers experience your home. While I am sure you are not excited to spend the money on utility bills heating a home you don't currently live in, I promise you it is worth the small investment.
Imagine stepping into a house that's colder inside than it is outside ..read more
