The U.S. Army awarded Barrett Firearms an $8 million contract for the procurement of Barrett .50 Caliber Long-Range Sniper Rifle systems. Additionally, the contract includes the M10A1, 1M07 and M82A1M rifles, as well as scopes, suppressors and spare parts kits. Consequently, the contract is expected to be fulfilled by Nov. 26, 2023, according to the United States Department of Defense.
