So, I've got a bit of a weird situation... All of a sudden CTRL+SHIFT+R doesn't bring up the export dialog. I'm running the latest version of Live 11 on windows 10. mezed Both the "shift" and "ctrl" keys work fine, but this shortcut broke for some reason, everything else is totally normal. I haven't changed anything in my templates and the problem persists with older projects as well as new projects. The only thing I have changed recently was integrating an SSL UF8 into my setup along with Sonarworks. Never seen anything like this and I've been using live since V6. Do you have Core Parking turned off in Win11? Are you're using a 12th/13th gen Intel processor? It looks like the combination of Ableton Live, modern Intel CPUs and Win11 have a problem with the aggressive core parking that Win11 uses. So I am well aware of how to use the external effects device to run pedals and other outboard effects into ableton when using an interface. But I just got ADAT expansion (Scarlett i1820 gen 3in standalone mode), and I cannot figure out if I can setup the ADAT expansion inputs and outputs to run a external effect. It has ADAT in and Out, and I am running In and out both ways from the interface to the expansion. I keep getting extremely confused. Hi all, I made a (free) Ableton effects rack that simulates the sound of speakers on headphones, for use during producing and mixing. Many similar plugins exist, such as Headphone Mix and Canopener, and SPL Phonitor in hardware, but I didn't find many that were free. I'm sure they exist, but I also just wanted to make my own for my enjoyment and education. Hey guys I am using ableton and recently bought an Akai LPD8. I am trying to get the drumpads to work with Battery 3. How do I assign Pad 1 of the LPD to pad A1 of Battery 3. I have Battery put in the C1 of a drum rack but also only with battery on a midi track can't get it to work. If I Go in midi mapping mode I can only choose abletons own knobs and faders and all that. Hey guys new to the forum a quick 1st question please. There is a rougue signal coming from my alesisq 61 keyboard to my mac mini triggering the reverb knob of nexus. It's a channel 3 with data bite 91 signal. I fixed this in logic with the midi environment selecting click and ports and draw in a transformer which can block this signal. Hi to all experts out there, I've been slowly moving away from Logic to Ableton and trying to adapt to new ways of working with Live. I'm confused by how easily Live runs out of juice compared to what i'm used to with Logic. My Mac Pro is very fast with plenty of RAM. I can use ridiculous amount of VIs and plugins with Logic, basically never reached the max with it, but with Live (regardless of buffer size or settings) the performance meter goes up to 60-70% it's starting to choke - just with a couple of VIs and no plugins to speak of.
