Hello everyone,
I’ve been using Language Reactor for language learning and have been exploring its features. I’m curious to know if there is a way to automatically skip non-dialogue parts during subtitles without manual intervention. I’ve checked the addon settings, but I’m unsure if this specific functionality exists.
Has anyone successfully automated the skipping of non-dialogue parts in Language Reactor? If so, could you please share your insights or experiences?
Thank you for your assistance!

I am learning Greek, and I want to watch YouTube videos with both Greek and English subs in the side view, not just within the video view itself.
When I go to the main Language Reactor web app, I can do this, but only with the videos which have already been added to the channels. When I play my video in YouTube (with the Chrome plugin installed), the side view only shows the subs for one language at a time. I want them both to be visible like in the web app, or if this is not possible, can I import my own videos into the web app?
By the way, in YouTube I know that I can hover over the Greek te ..read more

Hi LR Team,
I’ve notice for a while now that phrases get atomically revealed after hitting the repeat button in Listening Practice mode.
I preferred it when I was the one revealing the sentences (with the “eye” icon) after repeating the audio as many times as I need.
Can we change back to this? I feel like automatically revealing sentences is great for more advanced learners, but not helpful for beginners like me.
Thanks!

Hey guys,
Can anyone guide me through this?
The other day I found a tool called Wavel for translation purposes and an idea struck in my mind.
I want to explore the integration of Wavel’s translation tool with Language Reactor for multilingual applications. Has anyone experimented with this integration?
(I am leaving a link of the tool here so that you can see it too)
Let me know.

please, please, let me add a note for my saved words. For example, when I save the word “flounder”, I would like to add it such as a note of “flounder on: it defines…” and this note should be seen when I ever see the word “flounder”.
I hope you will be considered for this recommendation. Thank you

I would like to request a VLC extension that connects to the LR database. This extension would allow us to use VLC to learn and have the same data across platforms. I searched for a request about VLC using the search bar, and found one that mentioned the VLC player. However, it wasn’t specific enough. What I mean is an extension for the VLC media player that would work in the same way as LR, with the same account connected to it. I understand that this might not be easy to implement, but it could be worth considering.

I cannot export phrases in any format.
I have read the documentation and followed exactly but export does not work. When I click the “export” button at the bottom of the export window, a little circle spins in the export button for about 10 seconds and…nothing happens. It is the same for all the formats listed.
Does the export function work?
Thanks for your help

Request:
Would it be possible to make a feature that only blurs known words? That way we are able to get “native level reps” of those words, and the only words that would be visible are words that have been marked as “learning”.
I’m only talking about this feature for the L1, but if there could be a feature for “Known listened”, too, then it would be cool to be able to blur the target language per word as well.
Thanks for reading

Can someone please tell me how the YouTube page in the LR webapp is sorted besides the language level headers. Once I choose my level, it seems like one big, unsearchable and unorganized list is given. Is there some organization to this list that isn’t obvious, or is it just random? Thanks
