For weeks now we've been inundated with emails and phone calls from people asking to speak to someone called "Erica Thompson" who is sending RFQ emails from a URL that is almost identical to our real URL (westsalemtools.com instead of westsalemtool.com). At this point I'm getting worried that we'll suffer real reputational damage as people get their information stolen. The FBI reporting website is down. We were checking our Google results and in the past few days dozens of fake websites (some of them leading to inappropriate sites) popped up with our business information in the search results. I’m reporting them to Google’s Phishing Reporter, but is there anything else I can do? So, a few weeks ago I was researching about a course on Reddit and I came across this person selling it for way cheaper via a google drive folder! As others were buying I also went ahead and bought that course from them! This afternoon I got an email where they processed an entire refund to me (while I can still access the course from the drive) and their profile is no longer on the Reddit!
