I need some advise on the best solution to use for soaking a Gator head in for preserving the skin and what is left after cleaning it for mounting. I know of people who use formaldehyde but I hear that it is not the best because of how toxic it is. Rittels was good but they are out of business. But I need about 55 gals for soaking lots of heads so it can not be to expensive. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks ..read more

Was this thing not taken care of down at the outfitter quick enough to be slipping like this. I'm using the trubond tanning... Slipping Alligator Skin ..read more

It about 12” wide and 12’ long. My great grandfather lived in Ghana as a trader from 1920-1930. The snake as the story goes was outside the camp where he lived and the tribe he was with speared it and he was able to get the skin. I believe it was only... 100 Year Old Python Skin ..read more
