I'm married to a woman (45 years old) that is almost 4 years older than me & we have 2 daughters.
Due to the early removal of her uteris (womb) at the age of 37, her sexual abilities droped dramatically.
Sex is very important for me in quantity & quality, which is not currently present due to my wife's case; At the same time, she doesn't accept the idea of me marrying another. She said divorce me & marry another; & she means it.
this will mean the destruction of a family with 2 kids at a very critical age. Also I do love my wife & care for her.

Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. Could you please tell me what is the procedure of getting a Shari`ah-based nikah (marriage) done in Toronto. Do I have to get a court marriage done first then Shari`ah-based nikah? Or can I get a Shari`ah-based nikah done first without a court marriage? Jazakum Allah khayran.

I am about to get married and there is something that is bothering me a great deal. I have done a medical checkup and found out that I have herpes. I have been taking medications for this disease in order to prevent or suppress the virus from transferring. I talked to my doctor and she said that the medication would almost guarantee that the virus would not be transmitted. I have been hesitating to tell the truth to my fiancée. I am afraid that this will cause problems and I can't get married. Should I inform my fiancée of my disease?

Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. I am a German. My husband and I were married in Germany according to German law. I was Christian and then converted to Islam after my marriage. But then my husband found out about a hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) which states that there has to be a wali for a Muslim woman in order for her marriage to be legal. But when my husband asked the person in charge of Islamic marriage measures (the Imam of ..read more
