Do you ever feel like you're doing what God told you to do and then you hit a wall?
The Lord showed me two ways of being against a wall
Wall 1
You are traveling the path God has called you to. You are following and making progress. Maybe you’ve been running and striving to get where you think you need to be faster.
One day you run into a wall.
There is no way over or around this wall.

We dissect scriptures like Jeremiah 3:15, Psalm 20:4, and Job 22:22 to show that when aligned with God's will, the heart can be discerning and upright. We also highlight the profound connection between our emotions, experiences, and the healing journey, emphasizing that God tr ..read more

"Come to the Table"
This is an invitation the Lord spoke to me many times over the years. He's saying it again now. He's saying it to you, too.
There is a table in Psalm 23.
The table of the Last Supper.
The table Jesus invited Himself to in Zaccheus's house.
I have tables in my lighthouse.
I use Heart Doodling with Jesus in my quiet time to reflect on the table God is inviting me to and what is on the table.
I'm inviting you to come to the table as well. Summer of 2024 I will be visiting a table with the Lord each week. You can join us. Sessions are on Z ..read more

Have you ever felt like sharing your story is only valid once you've conquered your demons? I've been there. This week on the podcast, we're tearing down the facade that we must be 'fixed' before we can contribute anything of value. With vulnerability as my compass, I navigate the raw, unpolished terrain of personal narratives that are still unfolding, and discuss why these tales in transit are just as vital as those with a polished end. Embracing the messiness of the middle, I reveal how gradual steps in the dark often lead to profound growth and why it's crucial to cherish the journey as muc ..read more

If you grew up believing emotions were bad and best avoided the thought of starting to deal with them now can be overwhelming, downright scary. The good news is you don't need to do it all at once. You can go as slowly and gently as you need to.
Accepting you have emotions is a good first step. Allow them to be close in small doses. Learn to be comfortable in their presence. You don't need to fix them or resolve them. Emotions are to experience. In experiencing them you get to know them and yourself.
Making space for your child's emotions can show you what you need to make space for your own ..read more
