Hi! I have an Olds Delta 88 Royal Brougham 4-door sedan, V8 diesel, 1982. I have a slight problem with the trim around the back window, the plastic trim at the bottom of the vinyl roof. The plastic is so old now, that it´* starting to disintegrate. So the question is: Does anyone know IF I can buy new substitute, in metal or in plastic I´m located across the pond, and this car is rare over here, so no luck at scrap yards. Thankful for any tips. 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme SL 3.1 V6. Acquired in trade, verified spark, verified 47 PSI at the fuel rail. Had spark but replaced CPS anyway to possibly fix Injector control. Tested spark plug 1,3,6 to verify each of the 3 coil packs was working. I can only get the car to run on starting fluid. I suspect it could be a bad Injector causing all of them to go bad or that they are all just clogged as the car has probably sat for 2 or more years. I have a 1995 Oldsmobile cutlass Ciera wagon with the 3.1. This is my daily driver, so I don’t abuse her at all. Everything about her is perfect except she isn’t a manual. So I have been looking for cars that came as a manual, so that I could take everything out of that car to put into mines. It’* been a little difficult to find manual cars. Got a bomb *** deal on a 1990 Oldsmobile 88 Royale, Brougham, the 2 door version. She has the pre series 1, LN3 3800 V6. 137k miles. There is some oil in the coolant reservoir and radiator, as well as a coolant leak, and she overheats. As far as I know, she has overheated twice, each for around 2 minutes. The first time was going off an exit ramp where she was allowed to cool down for an hour, and the second time the previous owner was almost home. Please no judgements. I'm new at the hands on part of auto mechanics. I recently purchased a 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue 3800 and I changed the water pump thermostat to put new hoses also on a radiator cap and if I'm having heating issues where I can drive 10 miles or 15 miles easy with the gauge not getting to the middle but once I get to that mileage I get to the middle and if I shut the heat off I immediately have a problem where the gauge goes almost to the three-quarter Mark and I have to turn the heating back on to bring it back down is there a reason why my coolant might not be circulating or do I need to flush it because there is a rust build up when I open ..read more
